The production of Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Marseille Opera, with Santiago Ballerini as Count Almaviva, has been highlighted by the French newspaper Le Monde as one of the must-see shows of the month.

A success all the more meritorious as the Frenchman also designed the sets – an Andalusian mix with golden virgins, patio and azulejos – and the costumes, in keeping with the era of creation (one would think oneself in paintings by Goya)…. “
